My Experience in the World Cyber Games 2008
First off, thanks to Nuffnang and Samsung for organizing the bloggers’ CS gaming event… It was held at the Samsung booth during the World Cyber Games Malaysia 2008 in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre on the 16th of August 2008…

The Samsung representatives treated us Nuffnang bloggers at D’lish for a meal… All hail Samsung! lolol…

Yes I enjoy meeting new people on that day… But then one thing, damn ‘xia sui’ larr… My team’s first match was against the Nuffnang’s staff which consists of:
Boss Stewie, Nicholas, Yee Hou, Robb, Jolene

And unfortunately we lost didn’t win =_________= So sorry that I let my team down lolol… It was so last minute… Managed to confirm all my members only on Friday… Thus, we had no training, no discussion on any strategies or tactics and stuff… Just went and play on that Saturday itself… How ‘great’ is that… lolol…
Speaking of the CS competition, the team who beat Nuffnang staff in the final round… They look like those professional gamers lol… They are fast, accurate, precise, intelligent, etc etc… I see them play also I’m like omg, pro gamers… Hahaha… I think they are WCG players but keeping quiet there lolol… But anyway, despite the loss, Nuffnang team did their best… Ohh not forgetting our team too… And the other teams as well… Hahaha!
After the CS competition, we waited till 4pm to come… Ohhh wait wait! Let me tell you a story… Guess what, I got false hope from Robb Nuffnang or whoever’s incharged… Hahaha! The thing is this:
Robb called me while I’m having my lunch in Burger King with my teammate Leang… He told me that I and Leang got shortlisted for the winners of the WCG blog contest! But he didn’t called Leang, instead he only asked me to inform him as well because he was my teammate and I guess he is assuming that he’s with me at that time… So we were anxiously waiting till 4pm…
Then, at 4pm! They were announcing the winners for the blog contest… First one was the Samsung Most Favourite Entry… MrGin got it - won a Samsung Bluetooth MP3 Player YP-S5… So okay laa… Go on lo… Then the second one was the Most Creative Entry! They announced my teammate - Leang’s blog address! OMG he got the prize (Samsung Digital Still Camera NV24HD) but he didn’t get a personal call from Robb… I was like thinking, hmmmm… Hoping the Samsung 32″ LCD TV would be given to me… Hahaha! Okayy, I admit that time I was a little errrr… Maybe abit perasan larrh… And also abit overconfident lolol… =________= Hahaha!
And then they announced the winner of the Most Funniest Entry…

OMG! D: I lost hope already… I felt like arghhhhh! What should I do?!? I just stayed calm acting like nothing happened and continue clapping for Boss Stewie… Why give me false hope larr?!? lolol… Should have straight call my teammate - Leang instead of calling me right… Hahahaha!
Why laa why laaaa… My post not good enough mehhh?? I spent one whole night doing that post and then slept very late just to printscreen the pictures, edit it, turn it into animated picture file and stuff like that larr…

Once you’ve seen it already, compare my post with Mr Timothy Tiah’s post… And give some comments please! Any comments… No matter good or bad, but don’t larrh go flame me and all lolol… I seriously don’t mind if you’re gonna say his post was better or so… I just want to know what the others think about my entry post… Because I think I placed some effort into it and I think it’s better than as good as his post lorr… Hahaha but then again maybe I am just overconfident =/
Right now I’m not really mad at Mr Timothy Tiah… In fact, I have never got mad at him before! Instead, I salute him man! I think he’s a great person! Met him in person on Saturday and found out his character and personality was great, humble person not like other successful entrepreneurs and so on… What makes him more great is that, after he knew he was gonna win the 32″ Samsung LCD TV, he refused to accept it and decided to let it go to other deserved Nuffnang bloggers!
Ohh my god… Who on earth would have been so kind to do that larrh?? Win prize already then give it away… Somemore it’s not some cheapo stuff weyh, it’s 32″ Samsung LCD TV!! Rarely got such people like this exists in this current era lolol… Only Mr Timothy Tiah himself would have done that! You see! What a great guy he is…
So now, you must be wondering how to win the 32″ Samsung LCD TV from Boss Stewie?? Well just have to write a post on my experience during the World Cyber Games 2008 which is what I’m doing rite now… I seriously don’t want to let go any chances of winning it! Because compared to SOME of the other bloggers’ contest entry posts, I think at least I deserved a chance to win something! If I decided not to write this entry post, my precious time and effort for doing the previous entry post would have been wasted… At least now still got a second chance to win something… Hope so larr… Aiyayay…
Anyway on behalf of the Nuffnang bloggers, I would like to thank Mr Timothy Tiah for giving us a second opportunity for winning the 32″ Samsung LCD TV…
Well, I do sincerely hope that I would win that Samsung 32″ LCD TV, but then again, may the best blog entry wins laa…(Hope it’s mine, HOPE) ^^
